KS- well known for Kuruk Sastra SASTRA- one of the main cultural events in our college. Daksh for Technical symposium, Carpedium, Colosseum. Listed above are the main thing. And every department has their own technical fest in which everybody can take part and transfer their knowledge and gain Knowledge as well.

It was feasible for our batch but I came to know that, fee structure has been re-structured i guess it will be still feasible Inside our campus, we have banks that can also help giving us Educational loan an other big help that SASTRA can do.

As far as i know there are good scholarships and loan facility given by sastra I hadn't have availed any of those all through tout my college life.

My personal opinion if you are a edtrovert then you will really relly llike studying at sastra if not it will take some time to get yourself changed there are so many teams like dance team, English lits, Tamil lits, Drama team, Studio team, Hospitality team etc etc which allows you to show who are you.

Seniors were quite good. They are very friendly with us and helped us while we crossed over the hardship called "PLACEMENTS". They help us by giving their text book, their notes and teach us by spending their valuable time in fact they will not maintain any partiality, instead they will be very very friendly.

Out of 6 months per semester, we will have 3 internal exams out of 3, best 2 marks will be taken and added up to our externals so if you have good internals you will be the rock star or you will be the poor star.

It differs based on the department you go as far as i was concerned faculties were much better i was exposed to learn under faculty who were well experienced now they recruit people who have completed their PG. I think the standard is drastically increase
