Course Curriculum Overview
This college provides very new streams that will lead in the upcoming years for example AIDS, AIML, and IIOT. CSE is also introduced in the year 2022. This college has lots of potentials. The faculty to students ratio is quite good. There are many subjects for which more than two teachers are assigned by the college also there are only four streams which are approx 450 students or lesser and the faculty count is 120 including lab assistants, librarians and other non-teaching faculties for one building of BTECH. Most faculties have doctorate certificates from renowned institutions in India. The faculties are good at teaching. Of course, you should be attentive and listen to the faculties for getting good scores in exams. Some faculties are strict while some are not. After a unit completion, there is a test for that unit and an assignment too.
Internships Opportunities
As the BTech course is new in this college therefore on commenting on internships and opportunities is too early. But this college has organised an internship program with IIT KANPUR to help students develop skills and get a certificate with an IIT tag on it at a cost of 12000 to 15000. TCS and one more company have provided internships to the students.
Placement Experience
On talking about the placements, our college is new for the course of Btech and that is why no placement records are available. But it is expected to have good placement as the company tie-ups with this college are good. Btech and other courses got good placement records of max14 to 15 lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
I am in a BTech course and the fees of the BTech course are approx 130000 - 145000 per year. The cost to study can be considered as high but it is not much when compared to other ipu colleges. Yes, the fee hike is very much. Scholarships available are 1. MCM scholarship provided by Delhi govt. 2. Minority/EWS scholarship provided by IPU.
Campus Life
There are many fests organised in the college but most of them are organised by other courses in the college. Some good college fests are SPANDAN and INITIO. I am yet to discover more fest in this college and by our course too. Libraries are well equipped with books. The whole campus is centralised AC. You will not feel any sweat in the campus building. Extracurricular activities are good. Of course, our course is new so to get much exposure you have to work hard. Sports are both indoor and outdoor. Indoor include both boys' and girls' common room well equipped with indoor game facilities example carrom, chess, pool table, table tennis, etc. Outdoor sports include football, tennis, cricket, and basketball. One may have to bring their own ball and sports equipment. The clubs are well organised and new. One can easily take part in this.
Admission
Admission to this college is done on the basis of JEE mains rank. As it is affiliated with GGSIPU therefore one has to fill out the application form for admission. The cutoff is approx 1-2 lac for admission in Btech courses in VIPS
