I decided to pursue an MBA in international business because IIFT has received AACSB accreditation from AACSB international, it is one of the few institutions offering degrees in international business in India, and it establishes a monopoly in the field because only a small number of students will have a USP and a promising future. For one semester, IIFT has a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:20. In the fields in which they teach at IIFT, faculty members hold doctorates from foreign universities. The IIFT is made up of academics with extensive industry expertise. The technique of instruction is based on teacher-student interactions in the classroom. Based on the syllabus studied to learn about the application, group tasks and case presentations are assigned.

I've been awarded sales and marketing internships with Campus 360, and I'll be working there for a 150000 stipend. The aim of the project, which is focused on how the advent of digital marketing would disrupt the market, is to increase client productivity. Beginning with their fifth semester, students become qualified for campus placements. Among the well-known businesses that were visited were Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase & Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. No, 200 bids were submitted. The greatest package offered is Rs. 80 lakhs, and the average package is Rs. 22 lakhs. Among the profiles that are offered are those in finance, sales, marketing, consulting, international business, IT, analytics, and trade. Each child received a placement. After I graduate, I wish to work for a recognized enterprise engaged in global trade.

Approximately 18 lakhs are charged for two years of tuition at IIFT. Comparatively speaking to other IIMs and private MBA schools, it is less expensive. The central government and the state of West Bengal are both offering scholarship to minority students, as well as to students in that region. The loan interest is paid back by IIFT to other students. Students in SC and ST are entitled to a fee reduction of 50%. The return on investment for IIFT is higher than that of other institutions when you take into account the average placement of Rs. 22 Lakh and the cost of attendance of Rs. 22 Lakh. Since I am a candidate for the EWS, IIFT will reimburse my interest on any student loans I have taken out as part of their financial support.

VIVAAN, which takes place every October, is the techno-management festival. A live discussion on current issues is how industry experts from Vivaan IIFT alumni express their opinions. Books written by faculty members for the areas they teach are given away gratis, and the library has other books and research papers that can be checked out every month with a library card. A live projector, rotating fans, cameras, speakers, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a desktop computer is among the amenities in the classroom. Yoga classes are offered, and there are Olympia committees and fitness centers for sports. To help students achieve better in their sporting endeavors, Olympia hosts basketball and football competitions, and fitness clubs explore ways to administer student-run gyms.

All MBA students are given access to the dorms, with tuition at the Kolkata Campus ranging from 50,000 to 65,000. Additionally, the hostel offers laundry and mess services, both of which have additional but extremely reasonable fees. The annual hostel fee is INR 65000.

I took the NTA-led IIFT 2022 examination. Between September 21 and October 30, 2021, applicants completed out the online application. There was a 2500 rupee application form fee. A minimum three-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum 50 percent grade is required to be eligible for admission to IIFT's MBA(IB) program. Ten percent of the total seats are reserved under EWS, which I have used. On December 5, 2021, the exam took place. A request for an interview was required to meet the news category criteria of 90%ile and 86 marks. A technical software error in the IIFT exam, which was administered on December 5, 2021, at some centers where the exam was retaken, resulted in issues for students due to a clash in the exam's schedule and other factors.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, I did not have to face a GD or any WAT. GD/WAT/Extempore, Release of Interview Calls, and PI are the usual steps in the procedure. To prepare, I would read news articles every day, paying close attention to business news and its analyses. Additionally, given that it is a trade college, candidates who are knowledgeable about trade dynamics, such as current import and export trends, FTAs, CECA, and CEPA, will receive bonus points.
