Remarks
The college and the management have been great, however the college has been picking up and would still take time to be among the top. However, personally I feel it has the capability to reach there.
Entrance Preview
MAT - 96 percentileI had looked a various options which were available under the MAT examination, however since the college was centrally located as well as I had read some reviews about it I opted for it.
Internships Opportunities
The internship was for 2 months in the 1st year of MBA the student had the option of choosing internship from various companies in different fields with various banks, marketing companies, selling portals as well as logistics concerns. The stipend varied from company to company, profile to profile and from candidate to candidate. However on an average the stipend varied in the range of 5000 to 10000.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities have been decent. The major portion of the companies usually came for sales position for the marketing specialization, however there were various options as well. For operations, companies engaged in logistics were the major outlook. Finance candidates had diverse portfolio of companies ranging from operations role in banks, credit analyst role in credit rating companies as well as KPOs.
College Events
The college hosts a 2-day inter-college fest every year giving an opportunity to students from several B-schools, institutes and colleges across Delhi to participate in over 20 competitive activities to prove their mettle. Samavesh- the college fest aims to provide a platform to the management graduates to plan and organize a large scale event and put their management knowledge to practice. The college has various inter and intra house/college tournaments as well as competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was feasible when compared to various other MBA colleges in and around Delhi. The facilities provided, the knowledge imparted as well as the overall experience of 2 years were satisfactory enough for the fees charged.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though I hadn't availed any loan facility, there were many students who had. The college has tie ups with multiples banks for providing student loan without any hassles.
Campus Life
The student life had been fun as well as stressful seeing the efforts required during the 2 years. There are a number of Student's Action Committees to cover various professional and administrative activities of the college. The college also encourages entrepreneurship in its MBA graduates through various inter and intra college activities. Cricket Sangram is the annual Cricket fest where graduates and the Faculty/Staff of the college form cricket teams and play while Ranbhoomi is the annual sports event with a variety of indoor and outdoor sports including Poker, Chess, Carom, Badminton etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are decent when compared to various other PGs in and around the college as well as places like Satya Niketan the hostel rooms were on shared basis, however compared to the total strength were less. The college can focus on increasing
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network though a bit new has been growing and picking pace over the years. The Alumni Relations Office at the institute supports the Alumni Association, working on behalf of its Alumni Advisory Board, an all-volunteer body represented by select old graduates and institute members. The mission of the FIIB Alumni Association is to create a lifelong community of old grads through increased opportunities for meaningful engagement.
Exam Structure
The exams though were rigorous and hectic, I personally felt were important seeing the need for urgency and timeliness completion of work in the corporate world.
Faculty
The faculty of the college had been great for the 1st year of MBA, teachers from different fields and specializations hired had ample experience, knowledge and understanding to impart to students in their respective fields for Finance specialization the t
