Course Curriculum Overview

HR is one of the most critical functions in a business, especially after the pandemic. Faculty: Student ratio is very good with about 60 students in a class ll Faculties are PhD 6 terms, can be passed easily if you follow the classroom instructions and do well in assignments and projects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the reputed companies across all verticals visit the college during the SIP process. Students are paid with stipend at par with the top b-schools in India Usually, students undergo 2 months of SIP and get PPO in some cases.

Placement Experience

2nd year is when placements happen after you complete a mandatory internship after 1st year All the reputed and desired companies visit the college. 100% gets placed during SIP and final placements. Job

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are at par with most of the top b-schools in India. An education loans can be availed easily. Financial assistance is provided to a limited number of students based on need and merit. I am a current student.

Campus Life

Imperium: Feb Apart from this a lot of fests and events are organized by various clubs and committees. The library is excellent with state-of-the-art facilities Sports facilities are good but could be better There are many clubs and committees

Hostel Facilities

Bed + study table + AC in a two-sharing room with common toilet. The hostel is also good but could be better Mess food is OK For PGDM programs, hostel residence is a must and it is not very costly as compared to other b-schools

Hostel Fee: INR 450000 per year

Admission

Eligibility: UG DEGREE Entrance Exam: CAT 2021 ( Fees: 2000, Source: CAT Website) No Reservation Availed If the admission process for CAT is a bit less minority friendly in terms of gender, caste, UG degree, etc., and more focused on profile.

Interview Experience

Written Test: CAT 2021 Profile shortlist Interview To ensure that you get a profile to shortlist secure at least 96-97 percentile with good academics. Prepared for the interview round through some mock interviews.

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

Since my CAT percentile was quite less, 96, and being from a top NIT, I wanted to get into a B-School which could complement my NIT tag, while my fream was a tier - 1 college, my percentile shut all doors. Hence, with an interest in fin, I joined the best new IIM for Fin - IIM Tiruchirappalli. There I found the batch size to have increased by about more than 30% to 522. Use of GenAI in Customer support function

I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. Internship in ABG !!

You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
