Course Curriculum Overview

The Faculty in the college Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj of BTech Electronics Engineering branch is highly educated all of them are IIT graduates/postgraduates and some of them are persuing PhD from IITs as well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for a first-year student is 60000 and 54000 afterwards i.e. in 2, 3, 4 years. Speaking of scholarships if your guardian is not a government servant and your family income annually lies within the eligibility criteria then you have a 99% chance to get a UP scholarship.

Campus Life

There is no campus life as such, there is no playground, college is situated in an integral part of Kannauj. You cannot enjoy any extracurricular activities because there are no facilities. Speaking of the library, the books are really good but Library is very congested in terms of space.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee is 14000 per year you will have to share the room with two other room partner i.e. 3 students in each room. They give hostels to only first year students(boys only) afterwards you have to live in pg at a place called Tirwaganj, at a distance of 20 from college via E-rickshaw. They have 6 hostels on paper but only 2 working 1 of boy's and other of girl's, all the other are under-construction since 2021 with 0 progress. Mess food is the worst thing you will find here and worst is an understatement here. Mess fee is 16500 per semester as of last year.

Admission

Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj comes under Aktu and admission is taken on the basis of JEE Main exam. After clearing JEE Main exam one has to separately participate in the UPCET counselling and opt for the desired college.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I applied to all of the up government colleges[ like IET, KIET, etc] in UP as I don't take admission in Private colleges once because, according to me they are not money to worth it. As per my JEE rank i got this college when i fill college choice i put this college as a priority. To get this college if you get 90 plus percentile in JEE is enough for computer science branch and 70 - 80 for other branches not other special requirement for admission in this college, admission procedure is basically offline you have to reach the college for admission. I applied for biet Jhansi, iet lucknow, knit sultanpur etc but due to my low marks I didn't get admission in them.i choose this college because it is government so the tag of government college is applied Yes I get rejected from other colleges and I didn't get admission in them because of my low jee mains marks. 1) so many colleges in UP like IET Lucknow, REC Ambedkar Nagar, BIET Jhansi, KNIT Sultanpur were there but in none of them my admission got confirmed. Colleges like abes, ak Garg etc accepted my admission. I choose this college becaus of the government tag. 2) yes I got rejected because of my low marks in jee mains exam.
