Remarks

Overall academics wise its superb in facilties and infrastructure clubs and extracurricular sport departments takes so much towards student exposure enhancement hostels and mess are average only veg food was available in those mess.

I entered this with the marks of 12th standard through anna university applications are opened by anna university in the month of may/june and accepted applications are scrutinized based on marks and on quota based on marks applicants are called for counselling.

This college is located at very pleasant place and the coarses are very good as i did civil engineering i know well about this one classrooms, labs are equiped with state of the art facilities faculty are better in classroom coaching and in personal guidance to various clubs and sport activities enhance overall utilization and exposure.

Since it is a B.E intern, students on their own interest have to apply for internship and college takes no responsibility on inviting companies for internship.

KCT Yugam is a grand inter college cultural festival for 2days which is a feast for the students students can expose their talents and it was the best moments in the college.

College provides mahatma gandhi scholarship for top scorers which was 10000 during 2009-2013 and other caste based scholarhip for sc, mbc can also be availed.

Campus Life

Its an awesome life in college with so many activities to get utilized and gender ratio would be approx 65- 35.Vast clubs are present on different field students can participate and get benefited from the clubs sports competitions are arranged periodically various tournaments are conducted on cricket, football and basket ball.

College focuses very seriously on alumni relations many functions and gatherings are conducted which is a major plus point as students who currently pursue can get benefited about the future and scope of their coarse from their seniors through this gatherings.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

A green campus with welcoming nature for all students.

I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome. And the students and the alumni had positive reviews about this college. When I went for the campus visit I fell in love with the beautiful and green campus.
