Intership Opportunities at OIST

I chose this course due to its relevance to the current industry requirements. The faculty to student ratio is quite good, and the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching methods are quite effective and engaging, thus helping us understand the topics better. The term exams are held in a timely manner, and the difficulty level is not too hard to pass them. The course curriculum is regularly updated and is up to date with the current industry standards. Overall, the faculty members and curriculum of the course have been quite satisfactory

Unfortunately, our college does not offer paid internships in good companies. However, the college offer several off-campus internships in various fields. these internships generally involve working with established companies and organizations to gain valuable work experience and build professional networks. The exact roles and projects vary depending on the company and intership, but some of the tasks may include researching current trends in the industry, developing marketing strategies, managing data. and analysing results. the intership usually offer a stipend and the outcomes of the projects are usually shared with the company or organization

The placements of my college are quite impressive. From 8th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Several companies like TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, AMAZON and many more visit the college for placements. Last year, the college reported an average package of 4.5LPA and the highest package of 17LPA . Around 80% of students got placed within the college premises. After completing the course, I plan to pursue higher studies in the same field.

The fee structure for college is 96000 per year which is quite high for many students. However, the college does offer several scholarships, financial assistance and campus jobs to make it more affordable for students. Aditionally, the college has numerous campus jobs available, with stipend attached to most os them. This is very beneficial for students, as it helps to pay for their tuition, while also providing them with in valuable work experience. All in all the college provides several options to help make fees structure more affordable.

Life at the campus is quite enjoyable. The college arranges for many activities and events, such as the annual fest and a tech fest, which are conducted in the month of April. The college library is well-stocked with books and journals, and the classrooms are equipped with the latest amenities. The college provides ample opportunities for students to participate in sports and other extra-curricular activities. The college has variety of clubs and organisations, such as the photography club, music club, coding club, and debate club, which offer a platform for students to explore and hone their skills.

The admission process I went through was quite straightforward. I took Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to get admission in the college. I had to fill up an online form and submit it with application fee. The cut off for my college was quite high and it was based on the marks I scored in JEE. I was able to get a seat due to my good score in the entrance exam. The information about the eligibility for the course, application form, application fee and application date was mentioned in the official website of the college . I found the application process and the procedure for admission very smooth. The only improvement I would like to see in the admission process is the availability of more information regarding the course and the college on the official website. This would help the students to get better understanding of the college and the course they are opting for.
