I had attended JEE to study bsc in hospitality and hostel administration my rank is 13456 got placed in vels university . I attended a counciling at ihm chennai and got my admission letter after that came to university and got admission.
Internships Opportunities
Our college has tie up with many star hostels in Chennai .Outside Chennai ,we should choose the hostel and we have to find out owr own way .Genarally hostels will pay below Three thousand rupees,it may vary according to the hostels.hostels like Taj group and ITC group provides internship.
Placement Experience
Our college provides 100% placement. They conduct interviews in college and in various hostels.We have many oppurtunities from different hostels. Company's like ITC group,Taj group,Oberoi group, Le Meredian came to campus. For management trainees they offered Rupees 20000-24000 and for job trainees 10000-13000.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fees structure for my course is 61000 per year it can be played as two instalments semester wise. Yearly we are paying 4000 for our IGNOU exams.1000 for our semester exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
University provides scholarship for first rank holder's for each and every department. The scholarship money is equal to one semester fees. Other than the university scolarships state and central government scholarships are also avail by the students.
Campus Life
Its a very good life in vels university, Students here do participate in extra curricular activities. Inter college sports days are also conducted every year to encourage the students. Our college conducts a state level sports meet named as vels cup in each and every year.
Exam Structure
Theory exams are conducted in various department. Hall number will be metioned in the hall ticket. We have semester wise practical and theory exams.practical exam they use to conduct in the department itself exams are conducting very strictly each and eve
