Internship

I chose this course to help my family in the current family business he has and also to know about the business world in total. The facility is very good and well knowledgeable. They are very professional in their work. They are well qualified in their respective fields. The term exams were perfectly timed for getting the students ready for the internship semester. The exams were pretty easy and it depends on the knowledge the student had as well.

- Guyana: Roles available are Business Analyst, Video Marketing, and Operations. - Hyatt Hotel, Goa: Hotel management. - Hanyago: Sales intern - Bosch: Role in supply chain management - Sparkhood: Sales Any projects related to the business are accepted and a total of 16 weeks of the internship is to be done.

There was no fee hike as of now in my department. The fee seems reasonable considering it is a 3-year course and a very reputable college. I did not need any financial assistance to get into this university.

There is a management fest called Conscendo which is conducted in my department every year. It challenges students to react to pressurized situations and act accordingly. There is a rich fest as well called Revels which is conducted by the b.tech students and consists of many tech exhibits. There are many useful books in the library. There are separate libraries for separate departments. There is an annual sports fest conducted every year in the Department of Commerce. And there is an inter-college sports fest as well. Many clubs are formed by the students of Manipal. Some of them are MAC Manipal, Rangasthala, Photography club, HR club, etc.

The hotel caretakers are very strict with the hostel regulations which is very important in every hostel. They are very kind and helpful. The meal quality at Manipal is on point and regarding the menu, there are various delicacies provided. For hostel registration, we are provided with login details to log in to the hostel's website and complete the registration there. The hostels are pretty affordable. There are many room rentals or PGs nearby the main campus.

Due to covid restrictions, out batch was not called for an entrance examination. But we were taken through an interview process conducted by the department lecturers. I got the application form in the university website and was suggested by oke of ny friends in the same university. I understand the reason there wasnt an entrance exam for us but for the later generations it is as must to get into such prestigious college.
