Remarks

I would say this college is above average in terms of acedemics and infrastructure. But it lacks in conducting co curricular actives and keeping the students happy.

Entrance Preview

I took IPUCET and secured a rank of 10128 in it. I was allotted this college in the last round which was the sliding round.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my one year of Btech, I've seen that the teachers focus on the course objectives and try their best to accomplish them. They try to make sure that every student studying there is through with the course objectives. The course in the first year is very vast and some of it is not required according to me.

Internships Opportunities

As of now, the college has not provided us with any internship but there are internship fairs held in the college to participate. The stipend and experience depends from company to company and there's no specific amount of time of internship or the benefits of internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement cell here is quite active and about 80% students gets placed after the fourth year from on campus placements. Most of them are recruited by Infosys and Accenture. Companies like Microsoft, Yamaha, TCS also come to the college to provide jobs to the freshers.

College Events

2.5

The college events are always short of funds as the college doesn't provide adequate funds to host the events. The events mainly comprise of Avensis and Genesis which are held in the college campus and a cultural fest which is held by rotaract club of the college outside the campus. Last time, Aarohan, the cultural fest was held at Dilli Hatt Janakpuri.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible and costs around 1.10 laks per year. In comparison to rest of the colleges around it's pretty decent and doesn't sound like a lot. I think it's value for money for an institution like this. However last year the fees was 90k per annum and this year it has been increased to 1.10 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not heard about any scholarship or loan facility that is provided by the institution itself. I don't believe the college offers any scholarship / loan facility.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life here is quite lively and there's a lot of diversity around. People from various states come here to study and are quite friendly. There are a lot of societies here in the college but only some of them are functional. Workshops keep taking place here and you're provided with opportunities to learn.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel here accommodates around 150 boys and 150 girls. The infrastructure of hostel is not upto the mark and the rooms are very small in volume and have to be shared between two people. The mess food is average and not upto what's expected of it. The plus point being that the hostel is inside the college premesis and is very close.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors here are quite helpful and friendly. They tell you what's important and what's not and how to deal with certain problems in the most efficient way. There is no ragging or any other stuff to worry about and the seniors give the best advice.

Exam Structure

The exam structure consists of two unit tests which are 30 markers and are held in the college itself. They are followed by end terms which are held at different colleges under the Guru Gobind Singh Indarparstha University and the center is alloted prior to the examinations every year.

Admission

The admission process started with the registration after securing the rank in IPU CET. You have to deposit 1000 rupees to participate in the counseling rounds. Once registered, you can choose the priority list of the colleges in the order you would like. Then the three rounds and a sliding round takes place where you can freeze the seat.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of this college is pretty good and the teachers are quite helpful. They focus on giving the students their level best and take time to clear the doubts whether it is inside the class or outside. Having said that, not all the teachers are so helpful and friendly.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
