Course Curriculum Overview

Course is aligned with industry practices and is practical in nature. All courses are designed keeeping in mind the industry requirements. PGDM Core has courses for all field such as Finance, operations, marketing etc. however BF&S have more niche curicullum aligned with CFA and HR with specific Human resources courses.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 1960000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship opportunities are there based on past education performance, on a sports basis, scholarships for CFA aspirants etc. CFA Student scholarship is one of them, EWS students have a relaxation from fees.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. The college is student driven means every activity, events, placements and admission all are under the student bodies they coordinate with the college management to organize events and perform their tasks specific to their clubs, committee or societies.

Admission

The basic eligibility of the IMI full-time PGDM program is a Graduation degree with a minimum of 60 % throughout 10, 12 and graduation. IMI Cat cut-off is 88 - 90 for general and 85 for BFS and HRM programs.

Interview Experience

One needs to be prepared for group discussion and Extempore, which is a one-minute speech on a topic presented on the spot during the interview to a candidate. Needs to be completely aware of his/her CV.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
