Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum needs to be improved a lot in this college. They won't follow a fixed curriculum. And coming to faculty, most of them have PhDs and equivalent Doctorates. But their teaching skills of them are average. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:60. I chose computer science in B.Tech as it is the most popular in this college. Expect C.S.E remaining courses have very low students. When comes to term exams there are three Continuous Learning Assessments (CLA) before the End-Semester examination. These CLA's are conducted one for every two months so three in six month semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

You can get internships from 3rd year onwards. I got an internship opportunity from Tata Consultancy services in my 3rd year(5th semester). Stipend depends on your skills and knowledge. On average you can get up to 10k rupees for a 6-month internship. You need to complete a minor project to get elected for an internship.

Placement Experience

3

The placements in the college are very average. The placement drive starts from mid of the 7th semester. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, and Cognizant are the top companies in placements till present in the college. That too they provide average packages like 6 L.P.A. Except for these companies remaining companies that come for recruitment offer 3-4 LPA on average. But the percentage of students getting placed is quite good that is around 80%. Till now the highest package is 15 LPA by Wipro as per my knowledge. I want to do higher studies like M.Tech after completion of my B.tech course.

Fees and Financial Aid

When comes to affordability, this college will be the best choice as it has a very basic fee structure compared to any other privately deemed colleges. Plus, If you have a good percentage in your boards you get an additional scholarship. For the CSE course in the B.Tech, the basic fee structure is 50,000 per year and it can go up to 1,00,000 based on your grades. For further financial assistance, you can opt for an Education Loan policy as college is tied up with several top banks like S.B.I and Canara banks. The only thing which I felt bad about is the Academic Career Development fee(ACD) through which they charge 15,000 Rupees per year which is completely rubbish as it is not worth it at all. Except that everything is affordable.

Campus Life

3

Talking about the infrastructure of the college, it is good! I mean for the fee structure we pay it is worth every penny. The library is yet another good thing on the campus with centralized A.C. and you will get all the necessary books there. When comes to college fests and sports, there is nothing to talk about! Yes, they won't conduct any fests and sports activities. And yes there are technical clubs like A. I club and Cybersecurity clubs for namesake.

Admission

The admission process in our college is quite simple. The minimum eligibility for the B.TECH course is 12th board or any equivalent course. You can find the application form on the campus itself. I got admitted through my intermediate percentage. You will get a free scholarship based on your percentage. For ex: If you have above 95%, you get up to 70% scholarship. You can also write an entrance exam alternative to your grades.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.
