Faculty are fine but good w.r.t NITs

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Electrical engineering. The faculty isn't good. I recommend you not to take admission in any other course except computer science. Those who will teach you will definitely don't compromise in teaching but those who don't teach will never teach. More than 60% of Faculty are availing PhD and they are just a student but they teach you better than experienced faculty. Exams are easy till 2nd year, you can pass them without much difficulty. But from 3rd-year the questions formed are much more conceptual.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is only can be availed after the 5th semester and they also don't allow you to do it before it. You can do internships from any company even from foreign depending upon your capabilities and reach.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, we are eligible for placement. Placement's average - 550000 Although CSE students get more than that. Per cent of placement per branch student is almost 15-20%. Companies like Infosys, l&T, adani powers, and Ashi India glass.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are nominal here - 58000/year. If you are from up then you can avail of up scholarship only for economically weaker section (although almost every student takes this scholarship, using fake certificates) You will get 55000 scholarships. There are also fee waiver students whose fees are almost null.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is like Bhoot Bangla, 1st impressions would be like that only. The canteen is like there, bad quality food and you will not get any other food except samosa, cold drink, pakora. In terms of extra circular activity, it is good. Sports and other cultural programs are on the list regularly. In the library, books will be available till 2nd year and you will get only a few books after that. Only 2 books can be issued at a time.

Admission

Since 2021, Admission is taken on the basis of jee mains result before that it was taken from the UPSEE entrance examination. Cut off - 80-85 percentile (CSE) Counselling portal - uptac.admission.nic.in

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter.
