I cleared JEE MAINS entrance examination scoring 117/360. I came to know about this college from one of my friend in Indore. Doing the research at my end I found the college reputed with good academic stats and placement records. So, I decided to opt for it.

Since I belong to the last batch following the old curriculum of percentage system, the curriculum offered is a detailed one and covering basic to advanced topics of the subject. There have been some modifications in the syllabus of the following batches also with the implementation of CGPA system.

Not really to my knowledge. You can opt for research papers in your major projects depending upon the respective guide. However, from next year onwards students will be provided an opportunity to do in-office internships officially in their last semester without much worrying about attendances as the institution will take care of that on certain means which we are deprived of for sure.

Placement records are quite good of our college. Almost 80% of students get placed every year. Top recruiters include Musigma, Techracers, Deloitte, Odessey. These are dream companies offering you high packages. Musigma offers a package of 18 L.P.A. on 3 years based contract. Many mass recruiters also visit our college namely Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini. They mostly offer a package of 3.2-3.5 L.P.A.

Many workshops are organized more often. Many cultural events also take place like on Engineers Day and more. Our college fest 'AAKSHANK' happens every year in the month of Feb or March first week. Every year proving to be a success with humongous crowd attendance to see their favorite celebrities live, performing on stage. A great experience to cherish every year.

Being an autonomous Institute the fee structure is very feasible. Odd semesters Tuition fee is somewhere around 32,000 bucks and Even semesters fee is approximately Rs.29,000. Thus, overall tuition fee accounting for Rs.61-63,000/-. Apart from that Examination fee is Rs.2,000/- each semester.

Yes, government scholarships are being provided to the minorities students. They just need to fill in the form giving up all the necessary details of the scholarship and the required amount can be availed.

Campus life is very nice. With in balanced gender ratio. Not really 1:1 but appreciable ratio can be found. Friendly environment leading you to experience some of the best days of your life worth cherishing. There are ample of opportunities in extra curricular activities with sports events being organized every semester by IET Sports Club. Competitions are held in Football, Badminton, Chess, Cricket etc.

Three Hostel wings are there for Boys namely Hostel A, B, and C with 24 hours electricity supply and wifi access along with LAN cables(in the process). However, Bathrooms are common on each floor which you will probably not find as enthralling compared to other positives of the college. 2 Messes are there providing you two-time meals. Food quality is good but obviously, no match for home made foods.

Seniors are helpful at times of your need. You just need to maintain a healthy relationship with them. They are pretty much supportive. College is new in terms of its roots established in 1995. So it is currently working in developing an Alumni network for sure.

Basically, each semester there is 3 mid-sems i.e 3 monthly tests carrying a weight age of 25 marks each, out of which best of two is selected in each subject. Semesters exams are not hectic. A day or two days gap is provided with preparatory leave in advance for a week before the sems.

I got admission in CLC round i.e. College Level Counselling. Basically, this is the last round of seat allotment. In this round, you first need to register yourself by filling up an application form which you will come to know 3 -4 days before the actual date of counseling. Then you need to decide based on your rankings and seats already been allocated to the colleges, where is the maximum probablity for you to get a seat. You will not have any prior information about the seats vacant. Everything will be disclosed at the time of counseling on respective date. So, it's a gamble and you need to decide wisely. The admission process was very smooth. You just need to show your official documents and choose the department you want to pursue in based on available choices. The administration was really helpful.

Overall it's a mixed bunch of faculties. Some faculties are highly qualified and good enough in their respective fields. Their way of teaching and knowledge of the subject is appreciable. You will enjoy learning from them. Since I am an Electronics and Telecommunication student, a few of our subjects require very deep understanding and honestly, you will be provided with the best faculties for that particular subject to eradicate your confusion and conceptualize your approach.
