Remarks
You have 2 options to get admission to college either an entrance exam or direct admission. Get admission through counseling you get a discount on fees. In direct admission, no discount was given on the fees. You have to pass the class 10th or 12th board exam by at least 70% throughout. Counseling is much good and treatment by staff is very impressive and polite. The basic improvement can colleges can do is that they have each admission block in the building of their respective departments. KIT, KIT P, and KIHE can be separated.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this courses because no other private college offers B.Sc. (BIOTECHNOLOGY) except KIT. KIT has the best faculty teaching method. Many are Ph.D. holders in a particular subject and all faculty are degree holders. Many are pass-out students they are toppers of the college in a particular subject so they start teaching. Faculty and seniors are very kind and helpful as well. Colleges conduct many exams every semester like PUT (pre-board), SESSIONAL ( half yearly), and CT(class test). If you give all exams and score good marks in that you get a good percentage in board marks and get good internal marks. University exam was conducted within 4 to 5 months. It depends on the board.
Placement Experience
At the end of the 4th semester students are eligible for on-campus placement. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Placement depends on your skills and knowledge. In terms of placement college comes under Average. TCS, Infosys, google, tech Mahindra, And many more big company visited the campus for placement offers. Approximately 86% of students get placed in on-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
I register myself with a government scholarship program where you got a 100% refund of your fee but sometimes it may fluctuate from 50 to 70%. This type of scholarship depends on the government scheme and budget so sometimes it prefers according to caste and so on. KIT has provided a scholarship for those students who are branch topper yearly with no backlog and has a minimum of 75% in board exam yearly. Those students get a 15k cash prize from KIT.
Campus Life
The annual fests of KIT have commonly called ENGENIOUS. Here ENGENIOUS is a 2-day Techno-Cultural fest And I am much proud to be part of the Anchoring team of Engenious for all three years. And last year I am blessed with the post of Co-Convenor.
