Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was passionate about business and operations and thus I believed MBA to be a logical step forward The institute has a good student-to-faculty ratio. Some profs are really good and uphold their reputation. Whereas there are profs who do not put in much effort or they do not teach in an interesting manner. Every section gets different profs for the same course. Depends on your luck if the prof you get is good or not.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are great. This year most of the batch got placed in consulting firms. Some top consulting firms include McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Auctus, Kearney, etc. Apart from this. Banks like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and other investment banks offer roles. Marketing and General Management roles are ample too.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are decent. Being one of the top B schools. It attracts the best corporates to hire young talent. The placement committee does a good job of inviting companies. The placement rate is 100% and the entire batch gets placed in 3-4 days.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course is very expensive. 4,55,000 lakhs per semester. I cannot fathom the high price. It is mainly due to the brand value. Having studied in an IIT where the institute offers similar or even better facilities than IIMs, I cannot justify the high price. The high price is really costly to students from poor economic backgrounds. No proper scholarships are available. The institute provides economic benefits to some, but it is not transparent and feels like a sham. Loans are easily available.

Campus Life

4

Life is good but hectic. There are many students who run clubs, where like-minded people meet and interact. Something or the other keeps on happening on campus. But there are assignments and cases and academic load too.

Admission

CAT can be given if you are Final year of your college or have passed college with a degree. The application is hosted by the organizing institute. The exams mostly lie towards the end of November. The process is fluid and fair.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
