Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Chemical Engineering because I want to get admission to NIT Warangal. I did not get any chance to choose branches better than this. The quality of the faculty is good. Faculty: student ratio is appropriate.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities offered to students. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, de shaw, by mellon. The roles offered in internships are web development, ML engineering, Data science, data analysis etc

Placement Experience

Placement statistics is one of the best in India. Students get a lot of opportunities to get jobs with high packages. NIT Warangal has the best placement records among all NITS and a few IITs. placement percentage is easily above 90 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is very little fee hike. The annual fee is Rs.125000. We need to pay Rs.62500 per semester. If your family income is less than 1 lakh, there is no need to pay a fee. 100 percent fee remission. There is also a student loan for students who have to pay a fee

Campus Life

There will be many events on campus regularly. Three fests are the main ones. One is a technician in November which is a technical festival. Other fests are Youth fest and Spring Spree. The library is huge and many books are available. We can play any sport freely, if you are good at it, there will be a chance to participate in inter-NIT tournaments which are held every year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are fine. 1.8K hostel is one of the biggest hostels in Asia. Rooms are just fine to live. The room size is enough to be comfortable. The washrooms are okay. Food in mess is just fine. Need to pay every 15 days to subscription of mess

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

The only way to get admission to the National Institute of Technology Warangal is through Joint Entrance Examination Mains. There are reservation benefits for OBS-NCL, ST, SC, and also EWS categories. Need to get a high percentile to get admission here since it is a very good college.

The exams can be done for once in two months and that are considered as mid examinations before that there is a lab internal after 2 months again these will happen after that lab externals and semester will be done total semester will be done by 6months including preparation holiday and regular holidays

College for people with more money

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

Comming to course if you study for atleast imp u will survive no matter how hard the paper is and curriculum is easy to get on there is no issue in syllabus and other study related but he have to put minimum efforts to suvive through backlogs

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Pros and cons of nitw

I choose this college over other college because of the placements and I heard from someone that we will get too much opportunities from here and we are getting it One of the reason is I wanted to go away from home . The alumni connection of the nitw is the strongest one.
