Complete details of FORE School of Management

I opted for PGDM-BDA in 2021, as I wanted to explore my skills in Information Technology. Big Data Analytics was an alien term for me that I wanted to acquire for my career growth. I felt the upcoming demand in the technology field not just for backend work but even in all the major domains in an organization.

There were numerous opportunities in every domain. I completed my internship as a brand marketing intern for a well-known ayurvedic company. The stipend offered during the internship was at the average of 30-40K where there was no unpaid internship and the batch was 100% placed.

Last year for the batch 2020-22 the college achieved a 100% placement mark. The placement process starts in the month of September when big companies like Adani group, Wipro, Incture and so many companies participated the Avg package they offered is between 1350000-1450000. The bottom line of packages remained at 9.5-10LPA where the highest can go beyond 24LPA.

During my time the fees for the course were 1600000 which has increased to 1700000 from the year 2022. The cost to study is comparatively higher than the other colleges present in Delhi NCR like BIMtech and LBSIM. Yet, FORE provides a better ROI as the median packages are also higher than so many institutes in the Tier-II list of colleges. Apart from this, there are special scholarships available to grab on a merit or non-merit basis. I opted for an education loan from HDFC Credila it was a smooth ride for me with them.

Apart from studies college life is great at FORE, they have this special International Immersion Program where they take the entire batch for the student exchange program. During my course, we went to the National University of Singapore which was funded by the college. The classrooms are fully equipped with smart boards and projectors and a great positive environment to boost the morale of the students during the sessions. Apart from this, there are more than 24 clubs and societies where students can enroll as per their interests there are special interest groups in analytics, HR, Marketing, and even for sports.

I took CAT 2020 at that time Big Data Analytics was comparatively a new course at FORE School of Management so the CAT percentile for that year was 68%ile. The admission process starts in the month of October when you can easily find the form of different courses like PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-FM, and PGDM-BDA. There are no such high criteria for these courses if we talk about eligibility except you must be a graduate or in the final year of your graduation, percentile of CAT and XAT are considered to get a call back from the college. Then the next step post receiving the call from the college is to prepare for the personal interview round. FORE conducts PI rounds to finalize the candidates for the applied courses, right now the mode of PI is online where they can ask general questions along with why you are willing to join the course, they might also test your general knowledge.
