Course Curriculum Overview
PGP is the flagship course of IIM Raipur, which gives you an overall picture of all the various functions of a company. Considering the subject knowledge, the course provides in-depth knowledge on various functions of a company such as finance, HR, Strategy, Operations, and IT.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides opportunities to have a hands-on experience with big firms' first-year students. The company visits for the summer internship recruitment is high as 150+. The average stipend is 120000 p.m.
Placement Experience
The final-year students are eligible for the final placement. The average is around 17.73 lacs p.a. The company visits the college as high as 113+ and the college provided 100% placements in various domains, roles, and positions.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course is 15.49 lakhs for two years including the mess and the hostel charges. There are various scholarships provided to special needs Students to support them. The campus also provides assistance for the Summer Internship process and final placement. The average for placements is 17.73 LPA.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is great, actually amazing. We have our annual fest karmanta in Jan. You would definitely you engaged and provide a learning environment for finding your favorite management or other books at our library. The classroom provides a great ambiance for learning. We have a number of student-driven clubs and committees to keep the students.
Hostel Facilities
The room is on a single or double-sharing basis. The meals are provided 4 times a day and the quality of food is certainly assured to keep you energized for the all-day classes. The registration process for a hostel is pretty simple. You are allocated your room when you make your entry to the college once your admission is done. The college has residential programs.
Admission
I am currently pursuing MBA from IIM Raipur. I have appeared for CAT 2021 and received shortlist calls from IIM Kozhikode, CAP calls, new IIMs, and others by IIMS. The application form can be found on the official website. The application form fee is around 2000-2500. The application window is open from the second week of August to mid of September. Once the candidate has received the shortlist call, gd/pi process is intimated to you via email. The gd/pi mainly focuses to know the candidate better and the candidate is judged on various parameters. The evaluation criteria for each business school is different from the other. The gd/pi process is smooth as it could be. The faculty sitting on the other side, tries to know the strength (soft skills and knowledge skills) of the candidate. They ask questions more related to your resume and your educational background and experience. Improvement - A proper feedback could be sent to students where they can improve on if they are not qualified
Interview Experience
I was interviewed by the faculty of IIM Trichy. They mainly focused on the area of marketing and finance. As I belong to commerce background, I was asked about financial concepts such as depreciation, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and others. I was also asked to name a few brands and their parent company. It is advised to have some basic knowledge of what is going on in the economy. I thoroughly prepared by Cv, continuously followed up the recent news and gone through some mock PIs from my former friends who were pursuing mba from business schools.
