Remarks

Good- Lots of opportunities to show of your skill in any field. Faculty are of top notch and the placements are great. Bad-Food facilities could be bit better and the college fees could be a bit low.

Entrance Preview

Entrance - CET Rank - 51 BCA is a very demanding course these days. It deals with core computer subjects which strengthen the concept which could be applied in the industries. Techno India is best college in Kolkata for BCA in aspect of placements and Campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is based upon the latest industrial trend, theirs lot of programming languages in a span of 6 semesters and the faculty here is highly is educated and experienced with most of them having Phd.

Internships Opportunities

I interned in IBM for about 2 month with around a stipend of 5000.

Placement Experience

Placement is really good with around 90% this session. Some of the student even got 2 to 3 offers each. 5 of the student even got selected for SAP Labs

College Events

Their is a Tech Fest Called the EDGE, which provide plenty of opportunities for the nerds to show their skills and their is even plenty of prizes to grab for. Their is also college cultural fest every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a private and one of the best college in the town so there should be plenty of loan availability for various courses. As i have not taken any loan, so i cant be fully sure about it, but the college help in your financial aspects.

Campus Life

Male and Female students are equally distributed at least in BCA. There is a field in the college campus where you can apply your cricketing and football skills. Every year there is sports tournament with plenty of prizes. There is also a Tech Fest called EDGE.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostels are great but the mess food is of average quality. So, most the students prefer to eat outside the campus. So, i would rate the accommodation 3 out of 5. Fees are a bit on the higher side but affordable and also fully justified based on its in

Alumni/Alumna

I would rate 4 out of 5. The interactions between the seniors and students are great. Even the pass out students keep contact with the college and help college in many aspects.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.
