Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for commerce in the higher secondary. So I choose B.com for my degree. Our department is the biggest department of our college consisting of around 10 faculty and with a total strength of 450 students in total. The Teachers are well qualified. It is easy to pass the exam

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for each semester is 9000 for Finance & Taxation. It is low as compared to other fee structures of other colleges in Kottayam. The job companies on the campus include ICICI Bank, Federal Ban, TCS etc

Campus Life

3.5

Life on campus is very poor. A few fest and events were held in the 2020-2023 academic year. The college has a well-managed library with more than 9000 books to refer to. The number of active clubs is limited. The college managed to arrange a football tournament this year. no other tournaments so far. The college includes a very active Music Club and Film Club.

Admission

Firstly I took admitted to the management quota. Because I Didn't get allocated for this particular College for the First 2 Allotments. But later I applied for the supplementary allotment and I was able to get and also I got a refund for the charges provided earlier

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

I applied in Marian college, Kuttikkanam. But my 89 percentage mark didn't allow me to study there. Then I applied in kuriackose Elias college, Mannanam and now I'm studying there. My friend opt me this college. He is also studying there. I got admission through Mahatma Gandhi University website. And I got admission through merit and got seat. My 89 percentage for them was a very good mark. The course fees was also not very high. Most students don't study for model exam, but they are well prepared for the semester exams.
