- Lack of Income tax faculty in my college which gave our class a disadvantage and lower hand at the subject.
- Getting most campus recruitment in sales department. A variety of fields is much needed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was a commerce student in school and I decided to opt for BBA because this field interests me. My course commenced in December 2020. As my college used to run online mode due to the pandemic, I had a little bit of difficulty adjusting to the mode. But while being in online mode, all important notes and study material were provided to us by our teachers. They also used to try to make the classes more interesting through presentations and activities. 3 initial semesters out of the 6 were spent via online mode. Then, the Government permitted universities to reopen colleges which was a very happy moment because the offline mode of education teaches much more than just academics. On 14th February 2022, we attended college for the first time in our 4th semester. The faculty was helpful and lenient as students were trying to adjust to the offline mode yet again. The teaching method used by the faculty was perfectly paced and explanatory. Regular class tests were taken. Exams were regular.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for my course are 106000. There were no scholarships but there was an option provided to me on my request to submit the fees of the second year in 2 halves as my financial condition was disturbed due to the pandemic. The campus drives for the job are very good. Many renounced companies like Accenture, ZS, and also many start-ups and other companies have been offering campus recruitments since the start of the 5th semester.
Campus Life
Life at campus at Maharaja Surajmal Institute is very good. Every week there is some or the other event conducted in the auditorium. Many of them are educational while others are just fun activities. Our college also hosted a Diwali fest for our college students only. It was one of the best memories i have made till now. There are many societies in our college. Enactus, Ecell, Sifar, Octave are to name a few. The societies cover all fields like fashion, music, dance, theatre, business, social work, self defense, etc. The libraries have perfect reading spots and have decent variety of curriculum books. Book bank facility is also there in my college.
Admission
IPU conducts an entrance exam called CET. Students need to fill the application which gets available on the IPU official website around December-January and closes around may. The application form is for rupees 1200-1500. Fees may fluctuate every year. The eligibility for the BBA program I opted for was 50-60% marks in the 12th board. The exam was conducted via online mode but centers were allotted.
