From the very beginning, I wanted to become Interior Designer, So I knew to become a successful interior designer I must have proper technical knowledge, which JIMS VK -II provides very nicely. In their curriculum, they cover all the software which is required in the industry starting from Auto CAD, 3dsMAX, Sketch up, PHOTOSHOP, Coral Draw, In design, etc. Apart from the software they have furniture design, services, landscape, estimation, design problem, and Vaastu also. The faculties are well-educated and friendly. they have specialized faculty for specialized subjects

As I am in my first year, the internship will be provided after the completion of the second year. But according to my seniors, they were offered a good internship, some got stipends also, and some were not offered stipends. But most of the students got placed in the fifth sem itself.

From the fifth semester, students are eligible for placement. Students are placed in different companies like Asian paints, Odyssey, Ddecor, advit design, prospective design, etc. they offer good salary packages. 90% of students get placement. students interested in higher education do not opt for placement. I want to start my business so for that I need experience, so I will work in a company for two years which the college is going to offer me so that after two years I can start my venture.

The fee structure is quite affordable. it's 4,30,000 for the entire three years. they provide scholarships also. depending on your 12th mark. if you score 75% + in the 12th you will get a 10% scholarship, 80%+ 15% scholarship, 85% + 25% and 90% + 50% scholarship is there . as jims interior design provide internship also after the completion of the 4th semester, stipend depends on the company policy.

Interior design department has their own annual fest " Design Santushti ". where students show case their product . this comes under live project . where student learns about execution of the product . apart from this college has annual fest under the name of Zest . Where they have cultural event like dance , singing , instrumental , fashion show and so on . even JIMS has sports day also . classroom has all the Amenities like AC , projector , Wi-Fi , design studio . Students can be the member of Rotary Club also incase they are interested in .

The admission process is very simple. On the JIMS website, you will get the link for registration. The registration amount is Rs 1000. once you are registered you will have to clear your entrance, which is majorly based on drawing skill, GK, followed by a Personal interview. Once you clear your entrance you can take admission.
