Entrance Preview

I haven done GMAT entrance exams since its a master degree. But, the admin people was conducted face to face interview to select the student. The reason behind i joined is, this college is giving the life training than the education. There was a full day activity in this college and its a compulsory hostel.

Placement Experience

Most of the fortune companies come for placements with good packages that the highly paid for graduates companies . The selection process is also structured. First an aptitude test then a group discussion then a panel interview and at last personal interview.

Campus Life

The Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management offers the MMS - Master of Management Studies (Two years full time) course which is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra & affiliated to University of Mumbai.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, i am also the member of the alumina. I was helped by the member of alumina for the last job. College is conducting a alumina meet every year. We will share our thoughts on the day. Now, we are helping to bring the job opportunities to the students

Faculty

They are matured to deal with us. Because, 30-50% of the faculties are studied in the same institute. And other 50 % are PhD holders. So they delivered the excellent knowledge to us. I am still keeping in touch with them for any kind of knowledge transfer.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I had given only CET exam and as my score came low and only this college was alloted. I had no other choice to select this college. I couldn't apply for other colleges as my score came low and also with less fees this was a decent option.
