A Good College For Teachers Education Program With High On Placement

I was passionate about teaching mathematics at the TGT level and wanted to pursue a teacher's education program. So, I opted for BSc.BEd Course at RIE, Bhopal. It is a central institute that comes directly under NCERT. It has a vast diversified curriculum for all round development of students. The faculty: student ratio is 1:5. faculty members at RIE are good and have many years of experience in the field of education. They employ various methods like GD, Project Work, Field Trips, ICT, etc. The difficulty level of exams is moderate as it differs from person to person. There are 2-3 days gap in between exam.

Students get eligible for placement in their final semester. The placement cell of the college provides great opportunities for students. students get placed at schools like DAVs, JNVs, KVs, etc. The average Package Offered is around 4-5 LPA. Placement is almost 100%. i wish to do MSc after graduation.

The fees structure remains almost constant. I'm a hosteller and I pay around 40,500 per year which includes College fees (13,000), Hostel fees(8,000), and Mess fees (20,000). Students can either opt for a state scholarship or an NCERT scholarship which is given according to the merit list. College hours are not flexible which makes it harder for students to do any part-time jobs.

Campus Life is great so far. Various events are held from time to time on our campus. RISM ( Regional institute student meet) is held annually where students from all RIEs compete. Student Council Activities which gives students wide exposure to different cultures. Institute has a well-equipped library with a collection of over 60,000 books and 150+ Journals along with inter-library loan and photostat facilities. Each Classroom is ICT enabled along with wifi facilities. There are NCC and NSS units that work for the round development of students.

Candidates appearing for RIE CEE Entrance Exam must have cleared their 10+2 Examination with 50% aggregate or above qualifying marks from a recognized board. Candidates must register themselves at the RIECEE website and go through the form-filling process with the help of guidelines given at the website. A relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST/PwD candidates. A few improvements I wish to suggest are as follows: CEE Exam should be conducted through CBT mode. The counseling process can be more flexible and brief.
