Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology overall review

I chose the bachelor in computer science and engineering course because I wanted to be an engineer and I love coding the college is offering a good placement opportunity to students. The faculty students ratio is quite good because there are about 60 students in one class, about 5-6 sections for the computer science and engineering branch, and about 3-4 teachers per subject teaching one or two classes each. The faculty are highly qualified some of the teachers have completed their Ph.D. and many of them have completed their bachelors from a reputed institution and have an awesome teaching method the term exams are conducted timely like in every 1 month or 2 months it is not so difficult to pass the exams if you're attending the classes regularly.

The college doesn't offer many internship opportunities but still, there are internship opportunities available. The students are offered internships from the 3rd sem till the placements anyone who meets the requirements for the internship opportunities can apply and give an interview I remember one of the recent internships offered was from a company named caravel there are furthermore companies too.

The placement opportunity is average at MIET neither it is too good nor it's too bad. The college offers placement to about 70%-90% of the students with an average package of about 3.5 lacks per annum. The students get eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. Some of the reputed companies that visited the campus in the last 2-4 years are Wipro, TCS, ANR, cognizant, Infosys, etc. The Highest package offered in the year 2021-22 was about 25 lakhs. In the end, if we compare our course fees with the placement opportunities and the average package I must say it's quite good. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed at a decent company with a good package

The fee structure is quite good I would rather say it's the best fee structure for an engineering college as they are asking for about 1.8 lahks per year except for the first year it is about 1.20 lakh if you're not availing of the hostel and bus facilities. The fee hike policy is also quite good. The college also offers a scholarship to meritorious students every year. The students can also fill out forms for various other scholarships offered by govt through the scholarship office of the college. The college also offers great placement opportunities and internship opportunities in companies like TCS Wipro etc.

The social life at miet is quite good. There are lots of fests that occur at the campus the main annual fest is kolahal which occurs in the month of October or November it is a 3-day fest. There are various other fests including tech fest and others. There are approximately 3 to 4 libraries on campus that provide a wide range of books for every subject including journals. The college also promotes sports and extracurricular activities. The college selected player's through trials every year for various sports and they get a chance to play in inter-college tournaments and the yearly AKTU sports fest. There are various social groups and clubs also like the robotics club satellite club and many more interesting ones furthermore there is an innovation cell in the college where a student can share his or her idea and the members help him or her with that.

The admission process was quite easy for those who opted for direct admission as well as for those who took admission from the cutoff of jee mains counseling eligibility for the students who took direct admission that they should have scored 90+ percent in class 12th and those who opt from the counseling session was that they should have scored min about 25+ percentile application form can be easily found on the official website of miet I didn't avail any reservations so I don't know about that
