Overall, the college experience is worth the time and money I've spent. We have academic, cultural and other skills to maintain our individual growth for becoming a good citizen.

I was admitted into the college through EAMCET exam after completing +2 in CBSE school. I was interested in the Computer Science stream and got the admission right where i wanted to.

Honestly, before joining I thought the college will be just like other colleges. I studied in language proficient college (CBSE) before and I thought this college couldn't satisfy my needs. But, to my surprise, I was completely amazed by its teaching methods. The courses were taught by professionals and they have rich language along with good communication skills. The courses were taught according to the current industry requirements and we were made industry ready.

No, Our college doesn't provide internships. But, they'll guide us to necessary sources where we can get an intern.

The placement opportunities are rich for branches like CSE, IT, ECE and EEE. This year our management in connection with APSSDC have brought offers to MECHANICAL department also. As far as my knowledge, 70% of students get placed every year and few others go to foreign countries to avail opportunities like MS.etc. The highest package in the academic year 2016-17 is 7.5 LPA. Companies like Tech. Mahindra, Adobe, Amazon, Samsung R&D have visited our college for placing our students.

Our college gives importance to all kinds of events, be it cultural, technical, management. We celebrate it with full enthusiasm. Our college conducts events like sports, technical like workshops, training programs, cultural like dance, singing and so much. We celebrate all important national events and also organize a 33 Km walk on National integrity on 12th January every year. Also, we have college Fest along with college anniversary every year in the last two weeks of the year.

The fee structure is quite expensive but the education is worth the money we spend. Normally, the course fee will be upto 80,000 per academic year. Bus fee will be ranging from 8000 to 12000. Admission fee ranges from 3000 to 5000. In the starting when joining, if we pay 4500, we can avail the opportunity of getting textbooks for entire semester which can be borrowed for other semesters. The reimbursement of fees is applicable for up to 35000 as per government norms. If a student studies intermediate in government college , he can get a full reimbursement of course fee.

Scholarship can be availed through external sources like government reimbursement for up to 35000/- per academic year. The government provides scholarship of 2000/- per semester per year directly credited to student's bank account. If the student studies in a government school in intermediate, student can avail full reimbursement of course fee.

Campus life in VVIT is extra ordinary as we don't face any gender issues, caste domination or diversities. All are equal in the campus and the management takes care to maintain this culture. Not only the management, but the students also feel the same way which is remarkable. Moreover, our college offers extracurricular activities like sports, conducting events, including clubs where the students can improve their talent in their specific area of interest like singing, dancing, painting, animation, yoga, etc. by trained professionals. The students can avail this opportunity free of cost every Friday.

The hostel facilities are provided for girl students inside the campus itself. For the boys, only up to 3rd year, the facilities will be provided. For availing this facility, students need to pay 50000 per year. In each room, two students will be accommodated with separate beds and chairs along with internet facility. The hostel students can have study hours to focus the areas where they need improvement. Mess food is provided with utmost care at the low cost of 40/- per plate.

The seniors and alumni are very helpful to the juniors. They guide us to choose the right path whether to continue our studies or to get a job. They motivate us to improve our talents, strengths, and provide us the current trend in industry which need to be learned. Our college also maintains communication with alumni for helping the juniors in job opportunities or others.

Every academic year is divided into two semesters and follows the regulations proposed by JNTU Kakinda. In each semester, there will two Mid term examinations, One semester examination, One internal Lab examination and one external lab examination. Internally, for each subject, our college conducts four slip tests per semester, four assignments to be submitted for gaining marks. The schedule will be light for up to 3rd year students and is hectic for final year graduates.

After the counselling dates were released, I went to the college a day prior to check its environment. It was acceptable. Before joining, we were asked to fill up a counselling book where all our details and our academic performance will be written. The administration is supportive while the admission process and we got the necessary details easily.

The faculty encourages to gain practical knowledge and helps to do so. They are rich in language, subject and also have good communication skills. The faculty not only focus on the performance of students, but also try to help in individual, mental growth to make them industry ready.
