Internships Opportunities
I did my internship in one of the best company and most of the work was in the field of CFD, and experiments related to efficiency of its heat exchanges. The stipend was a total of 20000 INR for 2 months, besides the usual accommodation and travel allowances. I enjoyed the work since it was related to my areas.
Placement Experience
There were several good companies for placement. MNCs, PSUs, Indian companies. Packages offered were best in the industry. HLL, P&G, SAIL, Infosys etc. Most of the student 80-90% get placed. A handful of them get 30 lakh+ packages. Mostly MNC's come, this year there was an increase in the no. of Indian companies.
Campus Life
There was enough opportunity and facilities for extra curricular activities. Sports, theater, robotics, mechanical lab. All facilities were of high quality.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very wide spread and organized. There are annual and cultural programs. Several events like technical and networking are organized by alumni from time to time. College seniors are really cool and helpful. Give useful tips regarding everything. No ragging, really friendly. Alumni network very strong which helps one in the future.
Faculty
The faculty was excellent. All the professors were well qualified and experienced. They were also connected to the industry to get an insight on the current expectations and requirement from the industry.
