Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in artificial intelligence which is why I took a specialization course. the faculty to student ratio is also very good as the strength of a class ranges from 40 to 60. the faculties are very qualified and the teaching method is very conventional i.e either whiteboard or projector. the mid sems and end sems are conducted in a fair time and it is not very difficult to achieve a good cgpa if you do all the assignments and worksheets.
Internships Opportunities
the internship is eligible only for 8th sem students and many companies provide internships on campus like accolite, amazon, mercari, microsoft, xebia, samatrix, etc. projects work mostly include web development projects, machine learning projects, app development projects
Placement Experience
after 6th sem placements are started. and they also train students for placements. name of regular companies is TCS, Accenture, Wipro, HP, Infosys, Xebia, etc. the highest package offered is 44 LPA by Amazon and the average is 6 to 8 LPA by TCS. 60 to 80 % of students are placed. plans after graduation are to work in a decent company in the field of machine learning,
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees get hiked pretty much every year but they also provide scholarships on basis of 12th per cent. the scholarship slabs vary for every 10% difference. still at university so haven't got a job. the specialization courses are a bit on the expensive side as compared to normal courses
Campus Life
the name of the annual fest is JU Rythm. lots of activities take place in the span of 3 days. the fest is conducted in the month of February. the library is quite big and has all types of books, magazines, letters, articles, and computers. sports played here are basketball, volleyball, and football and students go to different cities to compete with other universities/colleges. clubs run by students are zarurat, maverick club, ashayein, student council, etc.
Hostel Facilities
three types of rooms a. 3 seater AC b. 3 seater non AC c. 4 seaters non AC three boys hostel and a girl hostel the food is average not very good. you can register for the hostel at the time of admission or when there is a vacancy. hostel rooms are quite spacious and clean, water supply is also good. there are plenty of PG and hostels in the neighbourhood. many students live in these PG and other hostels
Admission
The admission process is quite simple. you just have to apply for it when the admissions are open. Fill out the admission form which costs about Rs. 500 - 1000. The application form can be found on the university website and you can even visit the campus to get an offline admission form.
