I was really fascinated towards electronic devices and it's functioning . Along with that I was very curious to know how different process and operations took place inside the electronic machinery, therefore I took this course and luckily with the tank which I got in Jee mains exam helped me to enter in this course. The faculty -student ratio is very good in our college. For every 10 students there is 1 faculty is being allotted. Mast of the faculties have competed there PhD's from their respective branches. Along with that the Junior faculties have completed their mtech from it's. Talking about the teaching method opted by the teachers is very much advanced. Most of the conceptual topics are being taught on using videos and 3d views. Every months mid semester examinations are being taken and along with that at every 5 months end semester examinations are being conducted.

After the 4th semester companies visit the campus for offering the internship to teh students and after the 6th semester the companies visit for offering the placements to the students. Some of the companies offering highest placements in SGSITS are : 1) Google 2) Amazon 3) TATA 4) ACC 5) Goldman Sachs 6) Samsung 7) Accenture 8) Deloitte The highest package being offered is 32 l.p.a for core electrical branch and 8 l. p. a for software developer profile. About 99 percentage students get placed every year.

The fees of SGSITS is average and it is appropriate since it's a autonomous college. The annual fees of this college is roughly around 90,000/-. The fees are hiked after every 2-3 years and to according to the inflation rates. Every year the Institute organizes cultural events for the students in both the semesters. The academic session starts with a fresher’s day “Aavahan”. This program is exclusively designed for the fresh students joining the Institute. the Institute hosts a Techno-Cultural event “Aayaam”. This program hosts large number of events. Nearly 1500-2000 students take part in this event. Currently college library of SGSITS is fully flagged with good quality of high cost standard reference and text - books, world reputed International and National research journals, theses, project reportsand electronic learning resources in all disciplines of technical education. Amenities provided in the classroom are podium benches, stage for the faculty, a. c. , fans, tubelights and tables. Games like Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Throw ball, Basketball, Netball, Chess, Table Tennis are being played. Clubs in the college: Ojasva, Pratibimb, Kshitij, E-Cell.

Beds chair and tables for studying are being provided in teh hostel rooms. Along with that a ceiling fan and tubelight is being installed. Meals are as per the quality standards and every meal has 2 vegetables along with rice, chapatis and cereals. Registration process of the hostel is done through google forms and the ones with higher marks in the academics are allotted the hostel rooms. The semester wise fees of the hostel is 30,000/- which includes mess fees also.

The admission was done on the basis of the JEE MAINS rank . But if someone didn't gave JEE examination than he/she could take admission on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 12. The form which we need to fill was of mpdte. And the application fee was around 1200Rs and the documents which were to be submitted along with the application was jee mains score card, 12th marksheet ,10th marksheet, domicel , transfer certificate. I personally didn't availed any reservation benifits as I was from general category. But there were reservation benefits for the students belonging to obc , sc and st categories. The website for initiating the admission process was little bit slow but, so if the website could be made little bit more user friendly and fast then it would be very good.
