Review of my college by a present college student

The course curriculum follows the same pattern as in other NITs. The faculty members here are very hard-working, cooperative, and always willing to take the doubt of students. But one or two professors may students may don't like just because they cannot get the concept that the professor is delivering.

Companies like Wipro, and Tata provide internship opportunities to students. They were nurtured in real working environments and were provided a brief introduction to their role and work. Students of all branches get different kinds of projects and presentation roles. As I m in 1st year, I cannot provide much detail about that.

From the beginning of the 5th semester, students are eligible for internship opportunities, and after the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement. Companies like Tata, Wipro, reliance corporation, Goldman sac, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. visit our campus and give good packages to students. The highest and average package offered was 72.5 LPA and 14.7 LPA respectively. The overall placement of the institute was 97.2 percent. After getting my degree I will look for my placement and possible start-up if I get interested.

The fee structure is the same as what is prescribed by the central government for all NITs. Here you get the opportunity to fill multiple scholarships like NSP(NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL), E-Kalyan, and other college funded scholarship like Mastan.

Life at nit Jamshedpur is full of joy, happiness, learning, and practical application. Annual cultural fest Culfest is conducted every year around the month of April-may which motivates and inspires and provide opportunities to student and clubs to participate in cultural activities. Ojass is the technical fest of NIT Jamshedpur bringing a different kind of energy to the campus. Books are available at Central Library which is open from Monday to Saturday a week. The classroom is well equipped with all basic facilities be its smart board, sound system, mic, A.C., fan, etc. NIT Jamshedpur has strong sports culture including hockey, cricket, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, and table tennis, for both boys and girls. NIT Jamshedpur also have renowned club like Phoenix, Phocas, E-cell, etc.

1st-year Hostel room has one table, two almirahs two beds, two chairs, and sufficient free space inside the room to keep your belongings. 2nd the year hostel and onwards you get one table, one almirah, one bed, one chair, and a balcony. Mess food quality is quite better over other nits. Mess food has a good mixture of healthy food and snacks. After you complete the admission process in college you are informed to pay the mess and hostel fee of approx 48 thousand. You are alloted a room first and you are asked to pay a fee.

After jossa and csab counseling, specific dates were given for all branch. On that date, all students came. Their documents were verified physically which they had submitted in jossa counseling. Their registration was done too. That's how the admission took place.
