Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of the increasing scope of computer technologies in current years. faculty: student ratio is not much good there are mostly guest faculties . There is a review system at the time of sem end. Most teachers are P.Hd holders. There are 3 term exams in a semester they are not much difficult to pass

Internships Opportunities

in the third year, companies come for internships, and on their own anyone can crack internships in 4th semester. mostly offered roles are web developer and software developer .for web developer internship students have to show their projects on basis of which they get selected

Placement Experience

after 6-semester companies come to our college for recruitment. there are a lot of companies like Infosys, Samsung, tcs. The highest package is of 63 lakhs almost 95%students of our branch get placed . My plan is to get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I assume that the fees are a little bit expensive in comparison to the services provided by the college. They increase and decrease fees randomly. We can fill the form for government scholarships if income of the family is less than two lakhs

Campus Life

Our annual fest is adhyaay and tech fest is technica they are conducted in the month of July. There are only course-related books in the library . There are grounds for sports anyone can use them. there are so many clubs like ASCPC, NSS, etc.

Admission

Eligibility is an intermediate exam and all India jee mains exam. HBTU has its own separate counseling instead of JOSAA so Form becomes available on the site HBTU. Yes, There are all categories of reservations like sc, st, obc, girls quota, and ews too. I availed OBC reservation

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats. Counselling goes for three round.If not get selected, you can try last time in spot round if seats are vacant. Only students with jee mains result will get admission....Read More
