Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Paint Technology as it provides 100% placement. The faculty are very humble and supportive. Maximum faculties had done Ph.D. from some renowned Universities and they give their best in teaching. There are now 2 mid-term Examinations of 15 marks and Viva and also 50 marks End sem examination.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are great in the college it doesn't depend on your branch if you have the required skills you can go into the IT field also. Some internships are paid and some are not paid.
Placement Experience
For training or internship, you will get companies at the start of the 5th semester and for placement, it starts at the end of the 6th sem and the starting of the 7th sem. In Paint Technology till now it's 100%.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the first year of admission, you need to pay around 1,35,000/- which includes some one-time fees and after that, for 2nd, the 3rd & Final Years it will be around 1,27,000/- for a scholarship there will be a notice and if you fill the form correctly, you will get around 50-56k as scholarship amount.
Campus Life
There are many events organized at HBTU Kanpur. At first, you will get a fresher's party, then there is a tech event known as "Technika", a sports event called "Aagaz" and many more. The library is very big and contains a lot of books that may or may not be of your use.
Admission
To get into HBTU Kanpur, you need to give JEE Mains Examination and cutoffs are based on branch and category, for the general category and for the CSE branch you need to get anywhere near around 97 percentile.
