Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is diverse and provides holistic learning and we get an option to choose from a diverse set of electives across domains such as finance, consulting & strategy, operations, marketing, public policy, etc. and these courses are delivered by India's best faculty including India's chief defense secretary, eminent scientists, decorated academicians and even lectures by EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar.
Placement Experience
We have summer placements (first year), laterals, and final placements. The average and median were around 34.4 LPA last year with the majority of bat h getting into consulting and finance 100% students get placed. The Highest package was above 1 Cr.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is evenly spread across two years with the bulk going towards tuition fees, hostel fees, alumni association fees, books fees, etc. A Plethora of scholarship opportunities is provided by the government, academia, and corporates to students of IIM C. The students of IIM C get the benefit of Need-based financial assistance from the admin.
Campus Life
Best out of all IIMs undoubtedly with the best sports amenities and culture, the best library with millions of online and offline resources with a subscription to the best resources used by corporates which come in handy during research. We even have a trading lab equipped with NSE terminals. We have close to 40 clubs and interest groups apart from sports, cultural, alumni, External relations, and student council.
Hostel Facilities
We have 4 hostels, 2 of which are Co-ed, the biggest hostel is LVH which stands for lake view hostel. Hostels have good infrastructure, a centralized air-conditioned hostel will soon be built (work started as much as I know) for 600 students. Mess is handled by the student council and menu changes frequently at the behest of student residents. The registration process is effortless, everything is taken care of beforehand.
Admission
It was a PI process preceded by CAT. All the information was made available timely on the website and the admissions office coordinated the process flawlessly. The ER cell also provided mentors which were PGP students and were matched to our profile.
