Course Curriculum Overview
I'm very fond of learning about the various living creatures wandering around us in the world. So I took admission in MSc. Zoology. 7 associate professors and 1 assistant professor are in the zoology department which makes the ratio 8:40 i.e. 1:5 means 5 students one prof. Is available which is so impressive. all 8 professors have completed their Ph.D. in diff. Subjects of zoology. from this year the exam scheme is changed from yearly to semester. So it will be quite difficult for us to pass the exams now.
Internships Opportunities
various opportunities are available and provided by different companies as I mentioned earlier. Drug companies came with the post of project manager and lab manager. Bank came with the post of the cashier, relationship manager, assistant manager branch, loan record peon, loan recovery agent, etc. as I mentioned I will be eligible for the internships from 3rd sem so I can't make comment on that.
Placement Experience
from 3rd-semester vin msc students are eligible for campus placements. several chemical companies, drug companies like sun pharma, and banks like axis bank, hdfc bank, icici bank are some big names that visited our college for offers to students. nearly 10 % of students are placed in our college itself. I am planning to prepare for csir net exam after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission on sfs seat i.e. it's a paid seat in govt. College. No fee hike was made this year. I didn't get any scholarship. Since I'm in msc previously we had not made it to the job fest, so currently, we had not received any stipend.
Campus Life
The annual fest of lohia college is Sargam which is celebrated in the month of February, it's going to be conducted in a few days, has lots of activities, and is the time to cherish the joy of life. books and journals related to each and every topic are available in the library. a completely new sports Complex with 5 cr. is constructed and is ready to be Inaugurated soon having all the major sports. various groups and clubs are present in our college among which I m a member of the eco club and zoological survey club.
Admission
you should have passed BSc with min. 60% marks to be eligible for the course. the application form was made available online on the mgsu Bikaner site. no, I didn't avail of any reservation benefit. admission process should be made more convenient and should be done quite fast.
