Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in computer science and engineering is the best course nowadays so I also choose it and the placement is also nice. All professors are well educated and masters in their field i.e. teaching are good and exams are on time to time-based on a timetable made by own because it is an autonomous college now.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students are eligible to take participates in campus placement before that in the 3rd to 4th semester they have to take participate in an internship, some of provided by the campus, and our students can participate in internships off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for 4 years will be around 700k. And there will be a UP scholarship as per government rules. There will be scholarships of around more than half of the fees per year provided to eligible students by Uttar Pradesh government rules.

Campus Life

There are so many cultural and educational fest arrange in college every year like AAGAZ, and ADHYAY, in which every student can participate and that does not depend on the branch or year. There are so many clubs in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Every room of the hostel contains a table chair bed covered with a fan, light, and a window. The menu of food in the mess is prepared by students, so they get the food of their choice which the mentioned in the menu.

Hostel Fee: INR 21000 per year

Admission

To take admission to this course in college we have to go through JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA and based on the cutoff the counseling is done. We can find the application forms on the NTA(Jee mains) website every year. and the process is simple just go through the rules and regulations made.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
