Course Curriculum Overview
Paint Technology is a very different course from any other course and there are only 4-5 colleges in India that teach paint Technology. So I was interested in this course from the first day. The student ratio is generally nice and we have around 58 students in our class. The faculties are the most and the best part of the paint Technology branch all are very dedicated and supportive, and they all had done Btech Mtech Ph.D. in paint specialization. Exams are done after every month and are easy to pass if you've studied well.
Internships Opportunities
Colleges give internships for the 3 years with some stipends companies come and take interview students and give them a project based on their interests and specialization. Many projects will be given to students and apart from college internships you have an option for a 2nd-year internship also. In this, you've to make a connection and apply for an internship in the 2nd year.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is very good every 8/10 are placed in the final year of our College with a great package. Asian paints, Maruti Suzuki, automobiles, and many companies come and give a great amount of packages and internships also. I want to do a master's in paint Technology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of first year is generally 135k and it decreases when you go to next year ,2nd year the fees was 127k and in third year 110k and in final year 90k.College provides scholarship also ,some clubs provide scholarship to the scholars student. Ews scholarship are also provided by College.
Campus Life
Life is good as it is a state government college so it gives very much free time to the student to go and chill and explore things. Talking about clubs there are many clubs and sub-councils in our College ASCPC, Callidus Community, Gruv's, Octave, Kalakaksh, poetry club, and many more. Sub councils we have PSMSC (Print and social media ), Yoga, sub-councils, Sports, Cultural, Nss, and many more. As we all know about the 100 years of HBTU so the infrastructure is not so good. Getting a college with good infrastructure is a difficult task because it completed 100 years.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are nice and clean. Foods are also good as compared to other hostels, the staffs are genuine and helpful and every year has its own hostel and guards, staffs all very helpful. As HBTU is present in Kanpur so the meal is a mixture of North Indian and a little bit of South Indian. We have breakfast lunch snacks and dinner, and provide everything like milk fruit. Once you've taken admitted in the college you will get a form for a hostel and you will get your room.
Admission
So we gave the examination name JEE MAINS and after qualifying for the exam we got to know about HBTU, as HBTU is an autonomous University having 13 specializations, it has its own rules and regulations for admission, but it takes admission based on your jee mains. Overall College is good in studies, extra curricular activities, and most important placements.
