JIIT...a good place to be

Since the CSE branch is the best in all of engineering so I chose the same. Faculty here are friendly except few but that doesn't matter until you work hard to get good placements. The teaching method is well structured and the faculty here are professors and assistant professors having a PhD degrees from good colleges in India. There are 3 exams Term 1, term2 and Term 3. These are pretty medium-level exams.

Many companies like nagarro, snack magic etc. Visit our college for internship opportunities which may convert to PPO later based on the performance. They mainly focus on the development side during the internships period to build the basic concepts of the students and apply them to real-world problems

Placements are very good and better than many other good nirf ranks colleges like even nit and some iiit. Students become eligible for the same from the end of the 6th sem itself. Big companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, pure storage, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, infra market, optum etc visited our college. There were 200 other big companies and startups who came to our college for pretty decent placements. The highest package in our batch was 1.5cr at Amazon EMEA and a domestic package of 80 lakhs from Atlassian. 104% of students got placed.

The fee structure is 3.5 lakhs per annum including hostel fees. Fees for the academic facility will remain the same throughout the course of 4 years but hostel fees can hike due to business exegencies. The scholarship is also provided here for the very poor economy family background. I got placed at a good MNC with training and a stipend of 15000 which will be converted to a full-time salary later

Life on the campus is pretty good. The different annual fest takes place like convergence, ethnic night etc. And frequently tech fests are also conducted in which big personalities from the field of technology are invited to boost the motivation of the students. Sports and music clubs are there and one can take part

The hostel facility is pretty good with AC rooms. Having an almirah and a table chair with a bed, this room will be a perfect place to thrive and study. Mess food is pretty decent and better than many other private colleges. For hygiene, I would rate the mess 99 out of 100.

The admission process was pretty straightforward. One has to give JEE mains and score a good percentile around 94% and above to get the cream branch. Reservation benefits were not much promoted here. One can find the application form on the jee mains website. Cutoff for CSE 2019 batch was in the form of rank i.e. 50000 and above
