Life as a MMMUT Student

I had a genuine interest in electrical machines so I opted for the electrical engineering course. The faculty-to-student ratio is not as good but efforts are taken by hiring guest faculties, and the teaching method is like any other state government engineering college. All the faculty members are well-qualified from renowned institutions and have good teaching experience. Term exams are conducted on time in accordance with the academic calendar which is published in starting of the semester. And difficulty level is moderate.

The students are eligible for campus placements from their 3rd year but most placements start in the final year. For this year 2023 Many reputed companies visit the campus for tech jobs as well as core engineering jobs, this year 3 PSUs also visited the campus. Other companies include L&T, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Trilogy Innovations, Amazon, Aditya Birla Group, HCl, IBM, TCS, Mercedes Benz, Delloite and many sales companies also visited the campus. The highest offer was made by Trilogy Innovations 36.5 LPA as SDE. The average package would be around 6 lpa. Almost 80 % of the batch got placed somewhere (circuital Branches) Am looking forward to working in the company in which am placed

The fee is around 110000 rupees for every two semesters, and a lot of scholarships are provided for needy students the most important one is the UP government state scholarship, others also include scholarships given by alumni of the university, which are for needy and meritorious students. There is no scope of the job as such on campus

Life at the campus is pretty chill we have loads of fests happening all around the year. The most famous is the ABHYUDAYA, which is conducted towards the end of even semester, it is one of the most exciting events organised by the editorial board and the cultural synod. AYAAS is another such event, it is basically an annual sport meet fest for the students, where students compete in various sporting events. The biggest of fest is TechSrijan which is also the annual technical fest of the college. The lecture halls are well-equipped with projectors and all the necessary facilities. The college has well to do library which contains most of the required books Some societies that are run by students are the cultural synod, the editorial board, the finance club, SAE, the Electrical Club, the Association of civil engineers, the Electrical Engineer's legation, and the Coding Club. The campus has grounds for football, hockey, and cricket other than these indoor courts are available for badminton, and basketball.

The campus has 7 boys' hostels and 4 girls' hostels. The hostels have all basic facilities, mostly hostels are according to the year of students. The rooms are on a shared basis (triple and double) and single also (mostly for final year students which are decided according to the CGPA merit list ). The washrooms are enough for you to survive, and they also have a hot water supply for winter. The food provided is good and according to the menu. But eventually, you gonna miss home food. Hostels are cheap like 20 Thousand for a year and they opt during the admission process. If you do not wish to live in hostel accommodation in any of the subsequent years then you can easily get any room available just outside the campus main gate.

Admission is conducted in accordance with the national-level JEE MAIN exam. One can easily find all the important admission dates and procedure on the official MMMUT website, which is updated regularly in according to the process. All the reservation benefits as stated by the government are availed in the admission process.
