College Review

The course offered by the institution is an updated syllabus for engineering. The main reason for choosing this college is it is a Govt. autonomous institution with a 70 pass percentage. The college fee is nearly 10000 per year. The merit scholarship is also provided by the Government of Tamilnadu. The faculty member of this institution is mostly they are Ph.D. graduate, and Master's degrees. Engineering courses consist of 8 semesters. Each semester is max three months in duration at the end of each semester University Examination is conducted and it is quite difficult to pass.

As I already mentioned that most visitors to our college are IT companies like Zoho, Wipro, go frugal technology, white blue software, and so on. The average package is nearly 4 LPA per annum. The projects done by our students are mostly application-oriented.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

The college fees are nearly 10k per year and are one-time payments. You will be assisted by the Government merit scholarship for every student who studying in this college. The placements record of the college is nearly 70 percent with a minimum of 4 LPA.

There are various clubs including the Freshers club, Rotaract club, Leo club, Built club (tie up with IIT Madras incubation cell), News club, and Music club. Installation and valediction program of various club events. Workshops and annual technical and non-technical symposium, Pongal, Diwali celebration. The library consists of more than 5 lakh books and an e-library is also available. A department library is also available for various departments. Sports and extracurricular activities are excellent and our college students won many medals and recognition at zonal, inter zonal level, and state levels. Rotary club and Lions club conduct their inauguration functions. These clubs also help the poor and needy in nearby areas.

The hostel facility is quite poor due to improper maintenance. The meal quality is good. A non vegetarian meal is not available. The registration process for enrolling in a hostel is online/offline. The hostel fee is quite affordable and it's nearly 10k per year.

Admission to this college is purely merit base. You must enroll in Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) online and pay the initial amount. As this college is a Govt Autonomous college so admission is based on the mark you obtain in Class 12(Merit base).
