Not a bad option

IET Lucknow is one of the well-reputed colleges in the state. The placement in CS/IT or EC branch is good with more than 70% of students placed with an average package of around 4 lacs. The companies coming for placement are mostly IT companies that are TCS, NEWGEN etc which are the mass recruiter companies ADOBE comes with a package offering more than 10 lacs but only 3 or 4 students are placed For EC and EI has no core company in their field comes and they are mostly placed in IT companies. For core branches like electrical and mechanical only 3–4 students are placed in core companies with around 8 lacs but for the rest students the placement is nil the companies that visit in college for these branches are Honda and tech Mahindra. For the civil branch, the campus placement is nil. For the chemical branch, TATA Chemicals visit the campus and recruits a few students with good packages But also the off-campus placement of college is good

There are many companies that visit every year to offer internships on the basis of academics and interviews. However, you can also apply for an internship outside the campus which will be better. The internship is a must in the third yr.

IET-LKO is a tier-3 Indian engineering college and most of the degree holders from such colleges have to become clerks at the service based companies.6-7 LPA. There is very much scope for gate and other competitive exams for core branches, we have all India top rankers every year

As it was the first year's fees and also the time of registration so, I think they only had the option of the DD method. But, as you come up in further years Cash method is also available. However, I have not come to know about any option for an online payment mode yet. Fees Details:- Academic Fees :- 89775/- Hostel and Mess Advance:- 14000/- per sem. There is a way to pay your fees online from the second year onwards as I recently did the same. You will be provided with a portal and your personal credentials to pay the fees via online methods such as UPI, Cards, Net Banking and probably one or two more options

The hostels of 1st year(Ramanujam) and 2nd year(Aryabhatt) are very similar structures wise but Ramanujam leaves Arya Bhatt far behind when it comes to maintenance. The rooms of both the hostels are similar as also the things present in the room. Coming to your question the things present are: Firstly since it is a four-seater room you will get four plybeds . There are three almirahs in which four of you have to adjust somehow (in my case I was lucky to have only three people in my room as one of my roomie god knows for what reason left the college). A table and a chair. Two fans. Two tube lights. The room is pretty good and you will not have any problem. We are having a sports Complex which is under construction and will be inaugurated in 4-5 months. We have several clubs like iet josh for drama, insaniax for dance, Swaranjali for singing etc
