everything is exellent about the college from faculty o infrastructure but yes i would like to say since i m one f the earliest batches of bsc nursing course so shifting of classes and teachers keep on going which is a little difficult to adjust.
Entrance Preview
i choose bsc nursing for that i cleared GCET and i scored (55/100) . since, nursing is a proffesion in which one can get job very frequently and GMCH has great discipline and teching skills so i choose this.
Course Curriculum Overview
since the college is connected with hospital so students get great experience and exposure to the crowd which help them in future practice as well as in studies. in case of research so i would say that students faces the reality of live hospital situations so , get good oppertunity for various helpful and creative researches!
Internships Opportunities
yes the college provide internship of a year but since no batch has reached to internship yet of nursing so i can't say anything about the stipend.
Placement Experience
GMCH doesn't give placement of any course one has to crack the written exam. but yes in an interview, of course, the students who studied here are preferred.
College Events
I m very new to the college so I have not attended any of the events yet. but I have heard from my seniors the there is a great blast on an annual day and other events. even famous celebrities also join us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it is very much feasible cause for a year it is about Rs.8660 only including library and tuition fee. but one has to pay it at once.
Campus Life
campus life was good and gender ratio id quite nice in nursing course also we have around 10 boys out of 36 students.
Alumni/Alumna
well GMCH has zero tolerance for ragging and so seniors are quite disciplined. but in case of help some are helpful but some aren't vary from person to person.
Exam Structure
well in case of nursing there and semester test as well as full year exam of each subject varying each year. there is internal assessment of 25 marks and written test of 75 marks overall.
Admission
i choose bsc nursing for that i cleared GCET and i scored (55/100) my rank was 47 in GCET and 18th in bsc nursing course in genral category. since, i was passed out from chandigarh so i got 85% preference! and total 25 seats were there for UT genral crowd and 5 seats for SC/ST category.
Faculty
in case of faculity i would rate GMCH 100/100 cause each teacher has a look on each and every student . they doesn't only focus on syllabus but also on undertanding the depth of the topic . each member of the staff is cooperative with students and fully experienced.
