Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty-student ratio of around 10:1. Electrical society is ranked QS 1 in the country. All faculty have at least a Ph.D. in their respective fields and are prominent researchers. Exams are tough and persistent and work is needed for passing them.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also available through the placement cell of IIT Delhi (OCS). Lots of companies come to the internship sessions at the beginning of each semester. Research interns can also be taken by mailing professors in different parts of the world.
Placement Experience
Placements are among the best in the country. The average package of 13lpa with circuital branch placements being higher. More than 500 offers were made every session with over 50 percent getting placements and 25 percent going for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hostel mess fees are high and rise every year. Semester fees can be waived for those unable to pay them but not so for hostel fees. I have no financial assistance but several scholarships and accommodations are in place for those who need them.
Campus Life
Rendezvous is the annual cultural and Tryst is the annual technical fest of the college. Both are the biggest of their kind in north India and become city wide events with college students from all over visiting our campus during the time. All sports facilities are available in SAC and Mittal sports complex. Sports and cultural interhostel GC's are held annually.
Admission
JEE stages need to be cleared for admission to the college. The admission process is highly selective. Dates of exam and application deadlines are on the JOSAA website. The process could be made easier and more selective by changing exam patterns and syllabi.
