At last there's no bad remarks as i am 2nd Year Student and i know college from more than 1 year. CONCLUSION FOR NEW STUDENT if you are from Gujarat and in search for Deemed universities then u have to definitely here for shaping ur future.

I had given Jee Mains and Score 90 Marks. As I had tried to took admission in PDPU and Nirma but i didn't get in Mechanical Branch that's why I opted for Indus as it is best after this Nirma College.

Yes Syllabus or Course is Well Structured and planned accordingly to the future requirement. Yes it is not hectic syllabus and well planned for the ease to students. Curriculum u will get on first day of college. Curriculum is revised every year as per new advancement and Subject wise.

As I am 2nd Year Student i don't know about Internships and Stipend. But the Placement Cell is very active and reputed Recruiters came here for recruitment.

So, Electrotherm is main recruiter of university. Other than this some of the recruiters are IBM ESSAR RELIANCE AMW E-INFOCHIPS TCS ABELLON CLARIS AND MANY MORE BIGGER RECRUITERS.

There is Many Events including Department Activity and University OSA (office of Students Affairs) Events. Generally it has Organized during March. And As i am mechanical Department we have an our very own Association with name IMEA . SOME ofthe Events are Instincts Collympixs Haghathon Technical event such as Robo war Masterchef Gd and PI competition Sports events Cricket competition by Civil Department Football by Instincts Culture events Other College also participated in our Cultural as well as Technical Event. One of my favorite events is Rhapsody by OSA.

As I told u before Fees is Nominal as Compared to other Deemed Universities it is between 40-45k per Semester. If you are studying in Private College in Gujrat with GTU Affiliates its fees can be found near 80-90k per year. But it is autonomous university that's why it has nominal amount of fees. As it is one of reputed engineering colleges in ahmedabad as well as in gujarat.

As i don't aware of any facility. But i aware some of the scholarship by Government of Gujrat not by university as i don't know. Government of Gujarat giving scholarships to minority communities and To the Students who having less income below specific criteria.

Campus life is good on my note and Gender Ratio is not equal in every department. Well parties are organized by some students and organizer. There is main two workshops one is mechanical and other is electrical. Also have foundry for Certified courses. There is tolerance in every above field.

I am not in hostel. But Mess Food is very much better and Hygienic. Also there is vast area of mess with SS Table and Bench. Mess is always clean and maintain very good by staff. There is two choice one is fix lunch and other is fast food. My favorite in cantene is Chole Puri and Fix Lunch. It have Different menus every day. FOOD is available in reasonable rates. OTHER than mess there is many cafes and food court nearby campus one of them are Tafree near Mechanical Workshops and Other is Village Cafe near Campus.

Yes i am connected to some of the seniors they are very helpful and enthusiastic to do something new to college and society. Now as per alumni i know one of them which was studied in indus when its affiliated to GTU. Yet they are good in their respective fields.

Well There is two exam during semester one is mid sem and other is end sem, mid sem having 40marks and End Sem having 60 marks. Lab are well equipped with everything operational. On an average Lab are held everyday according to the subjects. In Mid Sem 30 marks are of exam and remaining 10 marks are of CIE or Continuous Internal Evaluation which is depend on Attendence and ur interaction and activeness during lecture and Class Test. Lab also have same pattern of examination.

I had passed 12 with 73% and score 90 in JEE Main. In Gujrat all the admission process is under ACPC And I got admission through ACPC. My rank is 14000approx. For Mechanical General cutoff was 16000 ACPC Rank in year 2016. U can get admission through defense quota as well as reservations seats. Also For disabiled persons.

Yes I would like to tell Faculty is one of the key Success of this College All the Faculties are Master in their respective fields. ALL the Class are held Regularly without any Problems. They are ready for any doubts even during recess time and we can easily meet them for any queries in staff room without any disturbances.
