Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course mainly because of the college: IIT Delhi. The student-faculty ratio is good, 1:100 students. The faculty is well-educated and active in research. Exams happen thrice a semester with quizzes happening frequently. It is the easiest course at IIT Delhi in BTech.
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship at Boston Consultancy Group as an Associate Consultant. The internship is for 2 months with a stipend of 1.5 lakhs per month. There are several other offers by companies like Google, Amazon, Bain, Accenture etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester. The highest packages go up to Rs. 1 Crore and almost all students get placed. The average package is around Rs. 12 lakhs. The profiles include software developer, consultant, product manager, data analyst etc. I plan to pursue a master's after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee has increased last year for 2022 entry students. There are several scholarships available for students, mainly for students from economically weaker sections. The fees for different reserved categories are also different and affordable.
Campus Life
Rendezvous is the annual cultural fest and Tryst is the annual technical fest. Apart from these, there are other fests like Kaizen and Literati that happen during the year. The boards and clubs are operated by the students and are very active with almost many events happening every week.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel rooms are in good condition. The washrooms are cleaned every day. In the room, we have bed, cupboard and a study table. The menu and quality of the food is also great. There's a lot of diversity in the menu.
Admission
I took the JEE Mains exams after which I got qualified for JEE Advanced Exam. The details are available on the NTA website and the JEE advanced website. I got admitted under the 30% reservation for female students.
