Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the electronics and communication branch because I was interested in this branch. I see there is so much to do and explore in this branch once you get involved. So talking about the student-faculty ratio, there is one teacher for about 60 students. All the faculty staff is Ph.D. graduates from IITs and NITs. The director of our institute is a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi itself. The term exam is easy to pass if you are just consistent.
Internships Opportunities
We have many companies offering internships like Paytm, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, and Zomato. You can get money in a good range thereby like 20000/ two months. Examples are drone-making and coding clubs in the institute. There is an innovation center at BIET Jhansi which provides you with a platform to carry your ideas forward.
Placement Experience
From the seventh semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The major recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, etc. The highest packages include 64 LPA and 45 LPA by Google and Microsoft. Almost 90 percent of students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite ok for a student. It's 99000 for a general student. We get scholarships for obc and SC ST students which are about 55000 for one year from the Uttar Pradesh government. Job opportunities are good with highest packages at 64 LPA.
Campus Life
We have many fests and competitions organized in our college. Innovanza , Abhinandan, etc. In our college, there are four sub-councils: cultural sub-council, sports council, literary council, hobbies, and fine arts council.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, three people stay in one room. We have lots of fun and the hostel is also very nice. We are given three beds, three almirahs, and three table chairs. The food quality is not too good but yet there is samosa, cholla Puri, paneer, aloo paratha, etc.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is at least 75 percent of marks scored in class 12th and the cutoff for getting admission in the college. There are two ways to get admission to the college. One is JEE Mains and the other one is CUET. I don't know much about cuet. But I got 60000 CRL in JEE mains and I am a rank opener of the ECE branch in my year. I am an obc candidate. So just give JEE exam and hope for the best.
