The course is considered to be one of the best in the market for any candidate from commerce as well as non-commerce background. The faculty of the college is really good as they will assist the students with the topic and will help them to score better in their semester exams, as well gaining outer knowledge by giving them practical experiences. The semester exams are conducted 2 times a year. The students will be able to pass the exams by just putting in a little bit of effort and can even score better if they are determined.

Internships opportunity is not available from the college. The faculty provide some internship opportunities to interested students. One of the companies is Younity.com which I applied for. It was a sales internship and a commission-based internship. A stipend of around 15000/month can be earned.

Students of any semester can apply for campus placements. Companies like EY, TCS, HDFC, AXIS BANK, KPMG, DELLOITE, Airtel, etc visit every year to recruit. TCS almost recruit 70% of the candidates who apply to their company. Most of the students are placed in top companies and there is a college alumnus which also assists the students to get placed in these companies. After the degree personally, I am planning to get a job to get experience.

The fee structure is available on the college website and is quite reasonable as per a private college. The college has a placement cell where the companies like EY, HDFC, AXIS BANK, KPMG, DELLOITE, TCS, etc come to recruit. The members of the placement cell prepare the candidate to get recruited. The Bhawanipur Education Society college is the best in entertainment and extra-curricular activities. The annual fest of the college 'UMANG' is the biggest program of our college where celebrities are invited to perform live along with the students of the college. Some celebrities are even invited for promotion as well. Sports and extra-curricular activities are never-ending, there are so many events and competitions conducted by the community and college teams are also made to compete in prestigious competitions like the reliance cup, Neymar Jr 5a side football, Ilead trophy, etc. Apart from extra-curricular activities the college library is considered one of the best in Kolkata. The classrooms have air-conditioners, smart boards, and CCTV. There is a canteen and an indoor sports room for relaxation and free wifi is also available. The students also run many social groups like a blood donation campaign troup, save the children, etc to help the society.

The admission is done on the basis of a merit list. The application form and date are available on the college website and the fees of the course are mentioned in the same the application fees are payable with the course fees. The eligibility criteria for bcom honors is a candidate taking up an honors course must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in their 10+2 or previous qualifying exam.
