I got through CAT scoring 94%ile. The reason for opting was that it is a very good course if you want to go in the field of Economics/Statistics/Analytics with literally no investment. If you invest 15 lacs in your masters education in India then it should either be IIM or similar level college or a very and relevant college like MICA for those interested in media. This course has a reputation of delhi university attached to it and the content is very relevant for analytics industry with less than 1 lac investment. A perfect course for relevant people.

The curriculum is very relevant for economics/statistics/analytics/research oriented career. You have dual specialization with electives like quantitative techniques in business, marketing management and finance. The subjects range from portfolio management and financial derivatives to advance econometrics, time series modeling and game theory. In marketing it ranges from market research to strategic marketing. Overall the course has variety but diverges to niches research and strategy side.

Yes it does provide internship in different fields including finance,market research and analytics and economic research. Average stipend would be 15-20k. There are internship with 50k stipend as well as with no stipend so it depends on opportunity that you can grab but the student placement cell is very active and works a lot for your internship. The students who get into placement cell chosen after voting also get a lot of corporate function exposure being in college only.

Average placement would range from 7-9 lpa in the fields of analytics,financial and market research and economic research. The companies are diverse and offer locations ranging from ncr,bangalore and mumbai. The alumni ranging from big companies also support in placements and the student placement cell works day night to get you placed.

There are so many events ranging from student orientation, alumni meet, annual convention, seminars and workshops. The good thing is that all these are managed by students and headed by a president and vice president selected from the batch.So it gives lot of exposure since students do everything and literally run the department in all events.

Fee is the best part as it is delhi university so fees ranges from 10-12 k per year and overall including student union activity fees it is under 50k per year. If you do not opt for event and activities you can complete two year master course from delhi university in less than 80 k and that is including hostel and food. Nothing can be cheaper than this.

The college gives some scholarship to top 3 candidates in CAT performance and late on you can also get referals for further study from your renowned faculties as they support the students who leave good impression on them. Otherwise scholarship is not an option in this course and loan is not actially required at this fees but still banks give loan for this reputed course from DU.

Campus is really good as you have big green campus that is close.to satya niketan and in south delhi. Gender ratio would be 30:70 girls to boys and diversity is good and people are from north, south as well as east india. You have facilities for table twbnis, badminton, cricket, football and gym in the campus.

The hostel facility is quite good considering the area I.e the south delhi location where you spend yours 2 years which is the most clean and luxurious area in delhi. The mess food can be improved and they try to give tender to different people and you ca

The course is 42 year old so you have big big alumni base and a very strong one. The only challenge is to track them and keep them connected as it is not very structures. We do have annual alumni meet which is very successful so far but it needs to raise level of connectivity since some of them are really big cxo's in some big companies and can really help us out in near future.

Exams is not easy but it is not very hectic if you understand the concepts and maintain good internal marks. The attendance carries marks in internals which is not very common in other colleges but the exam is sometimes technical so it depends on subject.

Faculty is knowledgable but they are changing as they are old so depends when you join the college. There are faculties who are regular on economic shoes on television as well as there are retired IAS officer and some corporate experienced in marketing co
