I took MAT entrance exam and took admission in this college because this college has great faculty members with good knowledge that's why i opt this college.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, that's a part where SICSR is very good. There is internship facility provided by SICSR and students have to make effort to reach out to companies or internship programs externally. SICSR are engage with some internship partners and start a internship programs itself.

Placement Experience

Job placements are really good here. SICSR has a record of 100% placement in last few years. You may also see packages on the higher side and they will push you in with the companies and some companies give you an average package as per industry standards.

Campus Life

Campus life was good as there is no things like ragging, sequel harassment, intolerance or inequality on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity or religion. Staff and senior are very supporting and the gender ratio was good as well. Only issue was that there was a bit of politics because of the youth club or heads who were running the events and fest which was devolved later on as it was not good on the student level.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very supporting and they led us to the college word and they thought us how to deal with it. They helped us in each and every new thing came to us with an open heart and welcomed us to the college. They were strongly in favor of programs where ragging should not be supported and we should not feel dishearted while staying away from home.

Faculty

Faculty is good and best in teaching. We have seen that some faculty do have good knowledge but they are not able to express that knowledge to the students which makes students to effort more on such subjects. But on the positive side we really had good faculty for some subjects.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. The unique opportunity of staying in computer field after commerce

I applied to NMIMS and MIT WPU and i got confirmed admission in both of them NMIMS i got selected for Navi Mumbai Branch and decided to reject it due to high living expenses in mumbai and I reject MIT WPU due to lack of placment opportunities. Admission process of SICSR includes an online exam called SET and if you get qualified then you are called for an Interview round. There are seperate qoutas for special categories and international students. Cutoff for this exams are genrally 40-50 marks out of 60 for the written test and PI is for 40 marks....Read More

SICSR Life

I had applied in LPU and Christ University, Bangalore but I chose Symbi bcuz it was always my first choice and reputation wise also Sumbi has the best reputation compared to the rest. Plus, Symbi ranks in the top 3 BCA universities in India. Even Christ comes in the top 3 but i feel it's just cuz of their high intake, whereas, SICSR only has an intake of 180 students for BCA....Read More
